Action For Change 2023-2025 learning document

Action for Change (A4C) 2023–2025 is an initiative by Blind Youth Association Nepal (BYAN) in partnership with CBM Global Disability Inclusion to promote inclusive Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and Family Planning (FP) services for youths with disabilities across Kathmandu, Surkhet, and Bara.

The project trained 75 diverse peer educators, conducted 30 awareness and counselling sessions reaching 2,125 persons with disabilities, and supported local governments to establish disability-friendly health facilities. Key achievements include improved SRHR knowledge among youth and parents, increased access to inclusive services, development of accessible IEC materials in Braille, large print, audio, and sign language, and strengthened local networks and policies supporting disability-inclusive health.

The project continues to empower youth as peer educators, sustain accessible resources, and influence inclusive health practices and policies in Nepal.
